A world traveller and an antsy on the road explorer I became strongly influenced to become an artist and do what I find is my passion, creation. Even as a small child I drew what was around me including people, faces, figures, landscape and add to it colors that were not real. I wanted to see the world in a completely different way so I created it as such.

The internet played a huge role in my influence seeing the graphic manipulations and the ethereal, otherworldly feel it brought. I began to learn photoshop at 14 and really began to start my work with it, seriously, at 17. Everything was a collage and I pieced it all together.

I had been drawing all my life but oil painting started as an assignment I did not want to do. Painting brought up control issues until I began to play with oil and taught myself more about it. Using bright colors and not a fan of mixing my work was very bold and eye-catching.

Photography is all about seeing things from a different angle for me and then rendering it. I do not want to see something at face value but rather what it could be turned into. To create my graphic work I take about 10-15 photos and super impose them taking out the mundane and leaving certain areas exposed. I have found that my work defies a principle in photography in which a photo usually represents a moment in the past. I wanted to take this and change in to where an image could represent a dream or even the future.

Some have called my methods surrealist and I suppose that is the best way to explain it. Sometimes psychedelic, either way it speaks in a lot of color and I've tried playing with more metallic tones and a darker theme.

My life's dream, however, is to be able to tattoo. I have wanted to tattoo for years and love the look of beautiful art on a body especially if it represents a time in one's life or a rite of passage. All of my art has led up to wanting this as a career and my dream is to one day do just that.
